DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Infrastructure

About the role

DefSecIntel Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain its cloud and infrastructure ecosystem. You will ensure secure, scalable, and reliable operations across software, hardware, and deployment environments for defence‑related systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage end‑to‑end cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred).
• Own cost optimisation, patching, version updates, cybersecurity measures and backups.
• Set up and guide developers in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) for automated building, testing and deployment.
• Design, implement and administer both physical product infrastructure and virtual environments.
• Administer Linux‑based servers and database platforms for internal and external applications.
• Manage network configurations and enforce security best practices.
• Continuously monitor system performance, implement logging and observability tools, and proactively resolve issues.
• Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and maintain development/test environments with real‑hardware integration.

Required profile

• Professional experience designing and managing cloud services across an organisation.
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Ansible, Chef or Terraform.
• Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills in distributed systems.
