DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Estonia or Slovenia (Ljubljana, Maribor). Candidates must already be based in one of these two countries.

Key responsibilities

• Keep Ridango's infrastructure stack running reliably (servers, Kubernetes clusters, databases, monitoring, backups) and operate Kubernetes clusters (cloud and on‑prem) including migration of workloads.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code and configuration automation (Ansible, Salt, Terraform) and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Apply strict access and security principles, drive the cybersecurity roadmap, support ISO 27001 certification and work with the InfoSec Board on governance, logging and audits.
• Resolve infrastructure incidents, participate in 2nd‑level on‑call and collaborate with Engineering, Support and Internal IT on deployments, performance, VPN, certificates and identity integrations.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on skills in Linux, networking, PostgreSQL and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD and IaC tooling (Ansible, Salt and/or Terraform).
• Experience designing and running highly available, redundant systems, including disaster recovery.
• Security‑first mindset and awareness of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001/ISMS a plus).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to dig deep into open‑source code.
• Good collaboration and communication skills, readiness to take part in on‑call.
• Fluent English.
