Email & Lifecycle Marketing Growth Manager

About the role

Ruby Labs is looking for an Email & Lifecycle Marketing Growth Manager to maximize the business impact of email as a growth channel for GetQR. You will develop audience segmentation, build personalized lifecycle journeys and run structured experiments to improve conversion, activation and retention, working closely with the Email, Growth, Product and Analytics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the email and lifecycle marketing growth roadmap and research customer needs and behaviour to define audience segments.
• Build personalized onboarding, activation, conversion, retention and re-engagement journeys, adapting messaging, content, offers and calls to action.
• Define journey triggers, timing, branching logic and exit conditions, and work with Product and Analytics on the data and events needed.
• Prioritize experiments, write clear hypotheses and run A/B tests on messaging, content, offers, timing and journey structure.
• Analyze email performance and user behaviour, partner with the Email team on flows and campaigns, and measure impact on conversion, activation, revenue and retention.
• Maintain an experiment backlog, document learnings, share daily experiment updates and monitor deliverability and engagement.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in email or lifecycle marketing.
• At least 2 years of experience in growth experimentation and A/B testing.
• Strong hands-on experience building audience segments and automated lifecycle journeys.
• Ability to turn customer research and behavioural data into effective flows and messaging.
• Experience developing and prioritizing experiments that improve conversion, activation and retention.
• Fluent English; applicants must live within about +/- 4 hours of CET.

• Customer.io, Mixpanel or similar marketing automation and analytics platforms.
• Event-based automation, personalization and email deliverability.
• Strong copywriting instincts and analytical skills.
