Engineering Manager - Analytics House

About the role

DoiT is looking for an Engineering Manager for its Analytics House, a hands-on, player-coach leadership role embedded in the global R&D team. The position is remote and open to candidates in the East Coast US, the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden and Israel. The manager runs the team, delivers results and grows its impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, own its delivery and development, and foster continuous improvement and career growth through 1:1s, growth plans and performance reviews
• Write and review code, take part in architectural decisions and uphold engineering standards through pull-request review and a healthy release process
• Work AI-augmented and lead an AI-augmented team, applying judgment about where AI adds value
• Own the team's commitments, run a disciplined planning and delivery cadence, and partner with the Technical Product Owner and Product team on scope and sequencing
• Own hiring, interview thoughtfully and recruit people who meet the team's standard
• Communicate clearly upwards, empower senior engineers downwards, and partner with Product, Design, GTM, Customer Success and other teams sideways

Required profile

• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering management roles with active coding
• Experience building cloud-based SaaS products and owning availability, cost and the customer-facing surface
• Track record of transforming an engineering team with measurable gains in delivery velocity, quality or team caliber
• Deep fluency in the team's stack, able to read, write and review code at a senior level
• Strong opinions on hiring, coaching, performance management and technical decisions, with excellent judgment under pressure
