Global Maintenance Manager

About the role

Bolt is looking for a Global Maintenance Manager to drive operational excellence across its micromobility maintenance network, covering 200+ workshops and 200,000+ vehicles worldwide. The role is responsible for the quality, efficiency and safety of vehicle maintenance across all Bolt markets, and leads through influence rather than managing mechanics directly.

Key responsibilities

• Define and standardise maintenance processes across markets, scaling best practices from top-performing workshops
• Develop KPI frameworks to measure maintenance performance at mechanic, city and global level, and create city improvement plans
• Act as product owner for the maintenance section of the Charger app, gathering field feedback and working with the product team
• Run internal maintenance audits and field visits to check compliance and support local teams
• Ensure workshops comply with safety guidelines, SOPs and local regulations, including global initiatives such as document signing campaigns
• Bridge local maintenance teams and central teams, feeding field insights into the vehicle development process

Required profile

• Hands-on operations management experience, ideally in a field-heavy, multi-market environment
• Data-driven: able to build metrics, spot signals in noisy data and turn findings into action plans
• Strong process thinking: documenting, standardising and improving workflows across dispersed teams
• Comfortable leading through influence across cultures and levels
• Product thinking: identifying what a tool needs to do and communicating requirements to developers
• Technical understanding of hardware or vehicle systems is a strong plus
