Hardware Test Engineer

About the role

Reconeyez develops battery-powered wireless security and monitoring solutions used in more than 50 countries, combining electronics, wireless communications, imaging, cloud connectivity and AI. It is looking for an experienced Hardware Test Engineer to ensure its products meet performance, reliability, safety and regulatory requirements before release, supporting launches across Europe, the UK, North America and emerging markets. The role works closely with hardware, firmware, production and product management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute product verification and validation plans.
• Ensure products meet defined specifications, performance and reliability requirements.
• Coordinate compliance and certification activities with external test laboratories.
• Support regulatory approvals including CE, UKCA, FCC, ISED Canada, PTCRB and future certifications such as ANATEL and RCM.
• Conduct environmental, battery, wireless and system-level testing.
• Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain technical documentation, test reports and compliance records.
• Support product launch readiness and manufacturing release activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Experience testing and validating electronic or embedded products.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and certification processes.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with wireless, battery-powered or IoT products is advantageous.
