Head of Data

About the role

Inbank is seeking a Head of Data to lead its Data Platform & Analytics team within the Finance unit, reporting to the CFO. The role will shape data governance, architecture and analytics across the company, turning data into a strategic asset.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Data Platform (Snowflake) and Business Intelligence ecosystem, set vision, roadmap and drive adoption company‑wide.
• Lead and develop the four‑member Data Platform & Analytics team, partnering with the Data Platform Engineering Manager on technical delivery.
• Define and enforce data governance, enterprise data model, data domains, ownership, policies and quality standards.
• Advance Business Intelligence towards AI‑enabled self‑service analytics with a curated semantic layer.
• Act as competence lead for analysts, establishing standards, training and promoting AI capabilities.
• Deliver reliable, scalable data and analytical solutions for Finance, including month‑end closing, regulatory reporting and financial planning.

Required profile

• Significant senior leadership experience in data, analytics or BI, building data capabilities at an organisation‑wide level.
• Proven people‑management skills with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
• Deep understanding of data strategy, governance, architecture and analytics across multiple business domains.
• Strong business and financial acumen, able to translate needs into scalable data solutions.
• Experience in banking, fintech or comparable financial services is strongly preferred.
