Junior Software Developer – Payments Infrastructure

About the role

Join SEB’s technology team as a Junior Software Developer working on the core European payments infrastructure. You will help build and maintain critical banking services used across the Baltic region while learning from experienced colleagues in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain payment and banking applications.
• Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, and testers to deliver high‑quality software.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous integration processes.
• Contribute to the evolution of the bank’s critical infrastructure.

Required profile

• Approximately 1 year of software development experience.
• Basic understanding of software development principles.
• Strong curiosity and a proactive mindset.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them forward.
• Open and honest communication style.
• Fluency in English.
