Oracle DBA – Remote (Estonia)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to join a partner company’s consulting team. The position is fully remote and based in Estonia, supporting complex multi‑version Oracle environments for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c and 19c databases, ensuring stability and performance.
• Work hands‑on with Oracle Engineered Systems such as Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) and Exadata.
• Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations, including moves to Oracle 19c.
• Diagnose performance issues and apply tuning strategies.
• Manage backup and recovery processes using RMAN, and implement disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Maintain high‑availability architectures with RAC, Data Guard, partitioning and compression.
• Monitor environments via Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control.
• Provide system‑administration support on Linux/OEL, Solaris, AIX or HP‑UX platforms.
• Contribute to consulting engagements, delivering accurate effort estimates and clear documentation.

Required profile

• Strong technical judgment and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within consulting projects.
• Experience with Oracle database versions 10g‑19c and engineered systems.
