Production Foreman – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

ABB is seeking a Foreman to join its production team and support daily manufacturing operations in a fast‑paced industrial environment. You will help ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production while leading the shift team toward operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and drive production performance against key metrics such as productivity, quality, and delivery, taking timely corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Plan and coordinate daily shift operations, including resource allocation and staffing, to meet production requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards and promote a safe working culture.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members, supporting skill development and cross‑functional flexibility.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance processes, reduce waste, and optimise performance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and planning teams to proactively resolve issues and improve operational outcomes.

Required profile

• Technical education is preferred.
• Prior experience in a production environment and/or a team‑leadership role.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
• Solid analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in standard computer applications and systems.
• Good command of English and Russian (both written and spoken); Estonian language skills are an advantage.
