About the role

As an Application Administrator you will ensure the reliable operation of Estonia's social protection information system (SKAIS) and related public‑sector services. You will monitor system health, automate routine tasks and take part in the development of a new generation of social‑service digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, configure and maintain Linux‑based applications and services.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, GitLab CI pipelines and PostgreSQL databases.
• Implement GitOps practices using tools such as Argo CD.
• Monitor performance and logs with Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana and the Elastic Stack.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents and problems, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to propose improvements and automation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to trace root causes of errors.
• Understanding of applications at UI, configuration and database levels.
• Motivation to continuously improve managed systems and contribute to critical public‑sector services.

• Java application fundamentals
