Software Engineer II – React Native (Krak)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join the Consumer pod that builds and scales the core Krak mobile experience. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high‑impact, consumer‑facing features used daily by a global user base.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of assigned Krak features, from technical design through release and post‑launch iteration.
• Build maintainable, performant, and resilient screens and components following established architecture patterns.
• Write clean, well‑tested code, participate in code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Rust backend engineers to deliver measurable customer value.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, propose trade‑offs, and improve shared components and tooling.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software development experience, primarily on web or mobile applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and hands‑on experience with React Native.
• Experience integrating and consuming APIs with a focus on security and performance.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX best practices and a passion for building intuitive consumer experiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
