Security Operations Center Analyst (Junior & Senior)

About the role

A Security Operations Center (SOC) team in Tallinn is looking for junior and senior SOC analysts. You will help monitor, analyse and investigate security events, respond to incidents and support the continuous improvement of security operations. Duties depend on your experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to incoming customer incidents and security events after initial triage
• Review logs, alerts and external data sources to assess their impact on security and operations
• Communicate directly with clients and give timely, professional support
• Investigate incidents using in-house and open-source tools
• Develop and improve security detections, processes and solutions
• Carry out network, system and security audits
• Manage incidents according to established procedures and playbooks
• Troubleshoot, configure and manage cybersecurity tools
• Produce clear reports for clients

Junior analysts work in shifts, including nights (8:30-17:00, 21:00-9:00, 14:00-22:00).

Required profile

• Experience analysing and investigating security alerts
• Solid understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Understanding of threat intelligence
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools and technologies
• Very good written and spoken English
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Legal right to work in Estonia (no visa sponsorship or relocation support)

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity or related degree or work experience
• Familiarity with SIEM, XDR, NDR, SOAR
• Networking certifications (Network+, CCNA) and security certifications (Security+)
