Senior Data Engineer – Finance

About the role

Bolt is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to strengthen its Finance Data Warehouse team. You will translate business needs into robust data models, pipelines, and visual analytics that support finance and commerce decisions across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise components of Bolt’s finance data platform.
• Integrate data flows from ERP, finance systems and third‑party solutions.
• Document business logic and data structures to ensure clear lineage.
• Implement data models, metrics, reports and dashboards in the BI layer.
• Identify and resolve technical and business issues, including bug fixes.
• Collaborate with product, data platform and finance stakeholders to improve data infrastructure.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related technical field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data architectures (OLTP/OLAP) and database design.
• Good English communication skills and a proactive learning attitude.
• Interest in finance data and ability to translate business logic into technical solutions.
