Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the role

Intetics Inc., a global technology company offering custom software development, distributed teams, quality assessment and digital solutions, is recruiting a Senior QA Automation Engineer through its client, a leading cybersecurity company offering vulnerability management, threat intelligence, incident response and compliance management. The role takes end-to-end ownership of QA for a new .NET-based product as the sole QA engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the testing strategy, test plans, quality standards and release readiness criteria
• Select automation tools and build a maintainable test automation framework from scratch
• Design, implement and maintain automated tests for critical functionality, integrations and end-to-end workflows
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to validate new features and find issues beyond automated coverage
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable, actionable results
• Work with developers and product stakeholders to clarify requirements, identify edge cases and improve testability early
• Investigate defects, document reproducible findings and verify fixes
• Assess test coverage, communicate risks and give clear release readiness recommendations

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Senior QA or QA Automation role, able to own the full QA lifecycle independently
• Experience setting up QA processes and building test automation frameworks from scratch
• Ability to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and work with Git
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including logs, test data and databases
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain quality risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required skills

• Solid hands-on programming skills in at least one test automation language
• Test design techniques, risk-based testing and selection of test coverage levels
• Testing APIs, backend services and integrations
• Nice to have.NET and C# experience, performance/load/security testing, containerized environments with Docker
