System Architect - Display Products

About the role

Stoneridge, which designs and manufactures technologies for vehicle OEMs since 1965, is hiring a System Architect for its display products (instrument clusters and monitors). The role combines system architecture and systems engineering work, shaping the technical solutions behind the products. You will work with engineering teams in Tallinn and Barneveld, Technical Project Managers and the System and Integration Manager in an international setting, with regular travel, and as a newly created position you will also help define the role.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer and business needs into clear, prioritized system requirements.
• Define and maintain system architecture, subsystem specifications and interfaces, and lead design reviews.
• Use system modelling, simulations and trade-off analysis to evaluate technical solutions.
• Collaborate with software, functional safety, cybersecurity, electrical, mechanical and verification teams, as well as project management.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations and internal processes, including maintaining DFMEA.

Required profile

• 3+ years of systems engineering experience, ideally in automotive, agricultural or heavy equipment industries.
• Knowledge of requirements engineering and system architecture development.
• Experience with display and monitor systems, embedded controls, diagnostics, vehicle communication architectures and system integration in automotive applications.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex systems and interfaces.

Required skills

• Requirements management and system modelling tools such as DOORS NG, Polarion, Capella or similar.
• Nice to have: knowledge of ASPICE, UNECE R46, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and functional safety.
