AI/ML Technical Architect Lead

About the role

We are seeking a senior AI/ML Technical Architect Lead to drive the design, development, and deployment of secure, production‑ready machine‑learning solutions. Based in Estonia, you will shape AI/ML strategy, contribute hands‑on to model creation, and ensure compliance with rigorous enterprise and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML strategy, solution architecture, and modernization initiatives across complex programs.
• Design, develop, integrate, and deploy scalable AI/ML models for decision‑support, automation, and predictive analytics.
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership throughout the AI/ML lifecycle, from prototyping to production and ongoing optimization.
• Oversee data engineering pipelines, MLOps processes, model lifecycle management, validation, monitoring, explainability, and bias mitigation.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into secure enterprise environments, embedding cybersecurity, data governance, ethical AI, and compliance requirements.
• Support security risk management activities, including threat assessments, authorization documentation, and governance reviews.
• Collaborate with security teams, business owners, and program leadership to deliver secure AI solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in AI/ML solution architecture and hands‑on model development.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams in regulated, high‑security environments.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI practices, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
