As a Software Engineer I at Checkout.com, you will contribute to building next‑generation payment technologies that power billions of transactions worldwide. You’ll work across multiple product teams, delivering high‑quality, scalable software in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions across the full stack.
• Lead project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring timely delivery.
• Define and design loosely coupled, scalable micro‑services systems using industry best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, extensible, and testable code for high‑impact systems.
• Mentor junior team members and support their technical growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java and solid understanding of software development principles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
