Arbitration Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Arbitration Specialist to join Wise’s Complaints team. The role focuses on managing arbitration cases, ensuring fair outcomes, and supporting Wise’s reputation by working closely with external arbitration bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and manage arbitration cases from start to finish, providing detailed documentation and evidence.
• Conduct audits of the internal complaint journey to guarantee fairness and compliance.
• Assess decisions made by arbitration bodies and ensure Wise’s legally binding responses are accurate and complete.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and monitor changes that affect arbitration processes.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Product and other cross‑functional teams to translate arbitration insights into policy and process improvements.
• Collect and record arbitration data for root‑cause analysis and feedback loops.
• Defend Wise against adverse arbitration outcomes to protect the company’s reputation.

Required profile

• Strong legal acumen with experience in dispute resolution or arbitration.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude toward regulatory monitoring and policy development.
