ASO Specialist (Remote EMEA)

About the role

A fast-growing AI consumer technology company is looking for an ASO Specialist to improve the visibility, discoverability and performance of its mobile apps across app stores. The role is fully remote (CET), starts ASAP and is a full-time contractor position. You will develop strategies to increase organic app acquisition through optimized store listings, better keyword rankings and higher conversion rates, working closely with product and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute ASO strategies to improve app visibility and organic downloads.
• Conduct keyword research and optimize app titles, descriptions, subtitles, keywords and other store metadata.
• Analyze competitor positioning, keyword strategies and market trends.
• Monitor app store performance, keyword rankings, conversion rates and organic acquisition metrics.
• Plan and run experiments to improve listing performance.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams on screenshots, preview videos and other listing assets.
• Prepare performance reports and turn insights into actionable optimization strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in App Store Optimization or mobile organic acquisition.
• Strong understanding of app store ranking factors, keyword research and metadata optimization.
• Analytical mindset, able to interpret data and identify growth opportunities.
• Understanding of conversion rate optimization and experimentation.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product and design teams and to take ownership of projects independently.
• Fluent written English.

Nice to have

• Experience with both Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Familiarity with ASO tools such as AppTweak, Sensor Tower or MobileAction.
• Experience with subscription-based apps, app localization and international ASO.
• Background in consumer technology, AI or mobile applications.
