Business Development Lead – Baltic Region

About the role

Shield AI is looking for a high‑performing Business Development Lead to drive growth of its defence‑technology portfolio across the Baltic region. You will act as the territory champion for Shield AI’s autonomous aircraft, ISR capabilities and AI‑pilot software, engaging with military and government customers to shape and win strategic opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the go‑to‑market strategy for the Baltic markets, aligning activities with regional defence priorities.
• Build and maintain a disciplined pipeline of opportunities covering autonomy software, unmanned aircraft systems and ISR solutions.
• Lead end‑to‑end deal cycles from early shaping through award, including demonstrations, proposal development and contract negotiation.
• Own the sales quota for the assigned territory and drive revenue growth.
• Develop and nurture strategic partnerships and customer relationships to expand Shield AI’s footprint.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within defence or aerospace markets.
• Strong understanding of defence acquisition processes and the ability to navigate complex procurement environments.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a track record of growing strategic accounts.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing senior decision‑makers.

Required skills

• Knowledge of autonomous aircraft, ISR technologies and AI‑driven mission systems.
• Ability to articulate technical value propositions to defence customers.
