Business Development Manager – Nordics

About the role

The Business Development Manager for Utilities will drive growth of medium‑voltage products across the Nordics and Baltics. Based anywhere in the region, you will travel up to 40% of the time to build strong customer relationships and deliver profitable market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and execute MVPD business development activities targeting profitable growth.
• Collaborate with Key Account teams and the broader Utilities sales ecosystem.
• Lead product launches and act as the Voice of the Customer in new‑product development.
• Support presales and sales teams in defining optimal product portfolios and value propositions.
• Gather and analyse market intelligence, competitive landscape and pricing trends.
• Own and manage the Utilities forecast and co‑create a segment growth roadmap.
• Assist the Tendering team with system design and application support.
• Optimize customer designs through product selection, layout planning and system configuration.
• Organise designer and customer events to secure inclusion on Approved Vendor Lists.
• Contribute to marketing materials, trade shows and conference participation.
• Provide management with market data to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the utilities sector, preferably with medium‑voltage power distribution.
• Strong ability to build and nurture customer relationships across the Nordics and Baltics.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
