Commercial Transactional Lawyer (Remote, Estonia)

About the role

This remote position is based in Estonia and supports an international organization with strategic legal advice on complex commercial operations. The Commercial Transactional Lawyer will draft, negotiate and manage a wide range of agreements, ensuring they align with business objectives and comply with Australian law.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as supplier contracts, service agreements, licensing, distribution, partnership, NDAs and joint venture documents.
• Provide strategic guidance on commercial risks, contractual obligations and compliance with Australian legislation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align agreements with operational goals.
• Support corporate transactions—including mergers, acquisitions and reorganisations—through legal due diligence and documentation.
• Analyse business strategies from a legal perspective and deliver practical recommendations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of commercial legislation, regulations and contract law developments.
• Independently manage legal matters while ensuring accuracy, efficiency and alignment with organisational priorities.
• Translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice for non‑legal stakeholders.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent law degree.
• Minimum five years of experience in commercial transactions, corporate law or a related legal field.
• Strong knowledge of Australian contract law, commercial regulations and business practices.
• Proven ability to draft, review, negotiate and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with international teams.
