Corporate Lawyer

About the role

As a Corporate Lawyer at Bondora, you will be at the core of the company’s legal and governance framework, ensuring that corporate processes, statutory obligations, and governance structures support a fast‑growing, increasingly regulated business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Bondora’s corporate law matters, overseeing legal housekeeping, governance actions and compliance with corporate requirements.
• Advise on corporate governance and help build a scalable framework aligned with regulated financial‑institution expectations.
• Manage governance processes and documentation, including board and shareholder matters, corporate approvals and statutory records.
• Support regulatory filings, governance‑related submissions and interactions with regulators in collaboration with the legal team.
• Play a pivotal role in Bondora’s transition toward a regulated banking environment, strengthening governance structures, policies and processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law and qualification to practice law in the EU.
• Strong grounding in EU corporate law.
• Practical experience in corporate governance and ability to formalise governance processes.
• Experience in regulated financial services.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑change, cross‑functional environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
