Customer Support Specialist

About the role

Wise, a global technology company that helps people and businesses send money across borders, is hiring a Customer Support Specialist in Tallinn. The specialist acts as a subject-matter authority, resolving complex cases by email, phone and chat so that every customer interaction reflects the company's commitment to "money without borders".

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of complex customer cases and solve them accurately
• Handle high-stakes conversations with professional, empathetic communication
• Escalate cases to specialized teams such as KYC, Complaints and Payment Operations
• Support colleagues and share knowledge within the team
• Give feedback on processes and product health to improve the customer journey
• Cover a variety of shifts

Required profile

• At least one year of customer support experience; fintech or high-volume experience preferred
• Proven multi-channel support through phone, chat and email
• Excellent verbal and written English (C1 level)
• Self-starter who works independently and stays calm under pressure
• Legally authorized to work in Tallinn, Estonia
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week) on a shift-based pattern

Required skills

• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
• Strong grammar and spelling
• Ability to explain complex concepts simply
