About the role

Join Luminor as a DLP Purview Engineer and help protect sensitive data across the organization. You will work with Microsoft Purview solutions to implement, monitor, and continuously improve data loss prevention controls.

Key responsibilities

  • Support and maintain Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
  • Implement, administer, monitor, and improve DLP controls throughout their lifecycle.
  • Identify, investigate, and address potential data protection risks and policy violations.
  • Collaborate with Security Operations, Engineering, and other technology teams to ensure effective data protection.
  • Review and challenge existing controls, processes, and configurations with a security‑first mindset.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, incident investigations, and root‑cause analysis.
  • Assist in defining and improving DLP policies, processes, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain documentation and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

  • Experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, system administration, or a related technical field.
  • Strong interest in data protection, information security, and modern security technologies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate issues and identify risks.
  • Proactive problem‑solver with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) for Pan‑Baltic team communication.

Required skills

  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft security technologies, especially Microsoft Purview.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection, or Insider Risk Management solutions.
  • Microsoft certifications related to Security, Compliance, or Microsoft 365.
  • Windows administration or endpoint management experience.
  • Exposure to Security Operations Center (SOC) environments or security monitoring.
  • Knowledge of data classification, information protection, and regulatory compliance requirements.
