Electrical Engineer II – Design & Change Management

About the role

As an Electrical Engineer II you will join Repligen’s engineering team to drive electrical design changes, support new product introductions and ensure smooth technical transfers worldwide. You will work closely with Change Management, Product Management and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver accurate documentation and rollout plans.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily engineering tasks and resolve complex design and documentation challenges.
• Develop and improve electrical and electromechanical designs, including schematics, single‑line diagrams and 3D CAD models.
• Maintain up‑to‑date design documentation, BOMs and work instructions for multiple products.
• Collaborate with the Change Manager and impacted teams to create and execute change rollout plans.
• Support NPI project teams during technical transfer and assist production engineering for new product launches.
• Collect feedback from production and after‑sales teams to identify and implement design improvements.

Required profile

• Technical or engineering qualification with at least 3 years of experience in electrical design for industrial equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, manufacturing processes and CE/UL safety standards.
• Commercial awareness and ability to consider cost impacts on design decisions.
• Willingness to work outside normal office hours for global collaboration and occasional travel.
