Exploration-Focused Innovation Lead

About the role

SEB is seeking an Innovation Lead to join its Strategy & Innovation team in Tallinn. You will help future‑proof the bank by exploring emerging customer needs, technologies, products, services and business models.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research trends, market developments, customer needs and emerging technologies that could shape banking.
• Translate research findings into exploration themes, concepts and opportunities.
• Develop and drive innovation explorations from idea generation through prototyping, validation and learning.
• Explore how new technologies, including AI, can create value and solve problems.
• Collaborate with business units, product teams, data specialists and technology teams to assess feasibility and implementation potential.
• Communicate insights, opportunities and recommendations clearly to stakeholders across the organization.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in product innovation, product development, service design or a similar field.
• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Proven experience driving multi‑stakeholder projects across business and technology domains.
• Comfortable moving between strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
