About the role
Join Luminor’s Treasury ALM unit as a Financial Data Analyst. You will source, map and automate data flows, maintain reporting systems and create visualisations that support data‑driven decision making for liquidity, funding and capital management.
Key responsibilities
- Work in cross‑functional teams to support Treasury’s liquidity, funding and capital management objectives.
- Participate in Treasury projects, collaborating with Product Owners, IT Delivery Leads, Business Analysts and stakeholders on liquidity forecasting, funding and debt instruments.
- Support Treasury analytics, reporting and decision‑making through data‑driven insights.
- Assist ILAAP, ICAAP and other capital, liquidity and regulatory assessment processes.
- Maintain Treasury reporting datasets, investigate discrepancies and identify root causes.
- Build dashboards and management reports using Tableau, Power BI and related tools.
- Translate Treasury business needs into IT requirements and leverage AI‑enabled solutions to improve processes, data quality and decision‑making.
- Use SQL, Python, R and other analytical tools for data analysis, reporting and process automation.
Required profile
- Experience in coding, data analytics, IT/business analysis, Treasury, financial planning or reporting within financial services, banking or fintech, with a willingness to develop both business and technical skills.
- Interest or experience in SQL, Python, R or similar programming and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with data warehousing and data visualisation tools is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge or interest in Treasury products such as FX derivatives, interest‑rate swaps, fixed‑income instruments, nostro accounts and liquidity management.
- Understanding or interest in deposit, loan and mortgage dynamics, as well as the Baltic banking environment.
- Awareness of regulatory frameworks governing banks is preferred.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) for Pan‑Baltic collaboration.
