Financial Data Systems Specialist

About the role

Join Luminor’s Risk and Finance Reporting team as a Financial Data Systems Specialist. You will ensure the reliable execution of daily and monthly processes within our data warehouses and financial reporting platforms, supporting the bank’s Pan‑Baltic operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor end‑of‑day (EOD) and end‑of‑month (EOM) processes across data warehouses and reporting systems.
• Maintain and optimise the underlying Microsoft SQL databases, including query performance tuning and schema management.
• Design and implement database archiving strategies to preserve scalability and long‑term data integrity.
• Enhance monitoring capabilities for EOD/EOM runs and proactively resolve any issues.
• Collaborate with group finance, business analysts, data engineering, and operations teams to ensure process continuity.

Required profile

• Proven experience with SQL databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of data processing workflows in financial or enterprise environments.
• Ability to plan and coordinate software releases and troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Excellent analytical mindset, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English for Pan‑Baltic collaboration.
