Freelance Senior Clinical Research Associate

About the role

TFS HealthScience is building a talent pool of experienced Freelance Senior Clinical Research Associates for an upcoming ophthalmology project. The role is home‑based in Estonia and supports both on‑site and remote monitoring activities for clinical studies.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, monitor (on‑site and remote), and close out study sites according to SOPs, GCP and ICH guidelines.
• Verify subject safety, informed consent compliance, and data integrity at each visit.
• Review electronic or paper CRFs and source documents for accuracy.
• Manage investigational product accountability and ensure proper handling.
• Prepare detailed Monitoring Visit Reports, document findings, and track corrective actions.
• Communicate issues and action items to sites promptly.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience as a Clinical Research Associate, preferably in ophthalmology or related therapeutic areas.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote, freelance setting.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and study blinding procedures.
