International Career Development Roundtable Internship

About the role

The International Career Development Roundtable (CDR) internship offers a unique opportunity to work within the United Nations system at the International Organization for Migration (IOM). You will gain hands‑on experience in a multicultural environment while supporting the development of institutional strategies and work plans.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and managing CDR activities and international cooperation initiatives.
• Support the formulation, editing, and documentation of IOM strategies, priorities, and work plans.
• Interact with IOM Headquarters staff, missions, and external implementing partners.
• Contribute to online training resources and internal communication materials.

Required profile

• Enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s program or graduated within the last 12 months.
• Interest in migration, international development, or related fields.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong responsiveness, flexibility, and capacity to manage urgent requests.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience in website maintenance (preferred).
