IT Business Partner – Convenience Retail

About the role

Reitan Convenience, part of the Norwegian retail group REITAN, operates in seven Nordic and Baltic countries, including R-kiosk, Caffeine and Lehepunkt in Estonia. As IT Business Partner in Tallinn, you will help turn the group's ambitions for a stronger digital presence into practical technology solutions. You work in the Support Office team, reporting to a member of the Estonian management team and working under the CIO in Finland on REITAN-wide projects.

Key responsibilities

• Own IT development projects from idea to delivery, keeping scope, timelines and costs on track.
• Help business teams get value from REITAN-wide data and product information platforms, resolving issues and coordinating the right teams and partners.
• Manage IT partners and vendors: follow up SLAs and contracts, negotiate, consolidate and bring in new partners when needed.
• Own the IT budget in your area and flag projects that become too costly.
• Prioritise by business impact and customer value, sometimes declining solutions that would make things harder for customers.
• Explore how AI and emerging technologies can modernise legacy systems and improve ways of working.

Required profile

• Experience connecting business and IT, e.g. IT Business Partner, IT Project Manager, Product Manager, Business Analyst or Consultant.
• Understanding of systems, integrations and data flows, such as ERP systems like Business Central, POS systems and data platforms.
• Experience with external partners and vendors, including SLAs, negotiations and budget management.
• Strong business mindset, able to build a simple business case and explain the value of a solution.
• Fluent Estonian and English.
