Junior Legal Counsel

About the role

iOENT is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join its in‑house legal team in Tallinn. This hands‑on position offers a fast‑track entry into in‑house law, providing exposure to commercial contracts, regulatory research, corporate governance and day‑to‑day legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating standard commercial agreements.
• Support contract lifecycle management, including renewals, amendments and monitoring key obligations.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research for the company’s products and services.
• Help with third‑party due diligence, background checks and vendor assessments.
• Assist corporate governance tasks, maintain registers and intra‑company documentation.
• Review customer complaints, disputes and chargeback‑related matters.
• Maintain consumer‑facing legal documentation and ensure promotional materials comply with regulations.
• Keep accurate legal records, trackers, templates and other documentation.

Required profile

• Previous legal experience (paralegal, legal assistant or junior legal role) preferred.
• Law degree.
• Strong interest in regulated sectors such as Web3, fintech or payments.
• Foundational understanding of contract law and commercial transactions.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• High attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, reliable and eager to learn.
