About the role
Bolt is looking for a Logistics Manager to cover an 18‑month maternity leave. You will own end‑to‑end global logistics operations, spanning Europe, Asia and the US, and work with a lean cross‑regional team to ensure cost‑effective, compliant freight movement.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee inbound and outbound freight across multiple markets, including EU, China, US and Central Asia.
- Design and maintain strategic multimodal transport routes balancing cost, lead time and reliability.
- Lead logistics expansion research, evaluating new markets, carriers and routing options.
- Act as primary escalation point for high‑value or complex shipments, resolving customs and delay issues.
- Support inventory oversight, track stock levels and coordinate replenishment with warehouse teams.
- Audit, validate and process international transportation invoices, correcting billing errors.
- Drive continuous improvement using AI‑powered tools and data‑driven analysis.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing global logistics operations and cross‑regional teams.
- Strong knowledge of international freight, dangerous‑goods regulations and customs compliance.
- Ability to develop cost‑efficient transport strategies and negotiate with logistics partners.
- Data‑oriented mindset with experience using analytics to optimise processes.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills for high‑complexity shipment issues.
