Market Research & Business Development Manager – European Partner Markets

About the role

Medison is seeking a Manager to lead market research and business development activities across its European Partner Markets (EPM). The role will support the BD journey from initial contact through deal closure, focusing on emerging biotech partnerships and new therapeutic opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Medison Business Development team to guide partners through the full BD process.
• Evaluate BD opportunities in key EPM countries such as Poland, Romania and Czechia, and develop comprehensive business case presentations.
• Design and execute market research projects, including secondary research on clinical, regulatory and reimbursement landscapes.
• Collaborate with internal subject‑matter experts to validate unmet needs and market entry pathways.
• Conduct primary research interviews with key opinion leaders and other external stakeholders.
• Monitor the BD environment, identify new opportunities, and propose initiatives to expand Medison’s presence in the region.
• Prepare written analyses and summary reports that synthesize research insights for internal and partner use.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, market research or commercial strategy within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
• Ability to quickly understand new therapeutic areas and navigate complex clinical, regulatory and reimbursement dynamics.
• Strong analytical mindset with systematic work ethic and clear communication skills.
• Experience working across multiple European markets, preferably with exposure to Poland, Romania or Czechia.
