Payment Operations Analyst

About the role

Adly is seeking a Payment Operations Analyst to ensure the smooth functioning of its payment products across a diverse portfolio of SaaS businesses. The role combines technical know‑how with analytical insight to troubleshoot issues, extract data‑driven insights, and support strategic decision‑making in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations of payment products, monitoring performance and stability.
• Investigate and resolve payment‑related issues across gateways, acquirers, and various payment methods.
• Analyze payment data to spot trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement such as decline rates and approval metrics.
• Build and maintain medium to advanced reporting dashboards; conduct ad‑hoc analysis of KPIs.
• Collaborate with Product, IT, Finance, Disputes, and Fraud teams to resolve escalations and improve processes.
• Work with external partners (PSPs, acquirers, alternative payment providers) to ensure seamless operations.
• Support and monitor payment integrations, including authorization, capture, refunds, VAMP and 3DS authentication.
• Contribute to automation and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in payment flows and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Required skills

• SQL – ability to write complex queries for large datasets.
• Advanced Excel – pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
• BI tools – experience with BigQuery and Preset for data aggregation and analysis.
• Dashboard and reporting creation.
• Familiarity with payment gateways, APIs, and integration flows.
