About the role

We are looking for a proactive Chief Accountant to lead and refine our accounting function within a dynamic engineering and automation company. You will be the key driver for accurate financial reporting, consolidation, and process optimisation using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and execute daily accounting tasks (hands‑on).
• Manage payroll and tax calculations.
• Consolidate group financials across subsidiaries.
• Prepare annual financial statements and lead the audit process.
• Utilise and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to improve efficiency, speed and transparency of financial processes.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics, finance or accounting.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a chief accountant with proven balance‑sheet competence.
• Strong computer literacy; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is essential.
• Background in cross‑border accounting or consolidation.
• High accuracy, independent work style and strong sense of responsibility.
• Good communication and collaboration skills across departments and partners.
• Fluent Estonian and at least basic English.
