Product Compliance Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Product Compliance Counsel to shape compliance strategies for innovative digital products used by a global audience. Based in Estonia and operating in a remote‑first environment, you will work at the intersection of law, technology, marketing, and product development to ensure digital experiences meet evolving regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve product specifications, user journeys, monetisation models, and digital features to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Support product compliance audits, incident‑response processes, and corrective‑action implementation.
• Assess marketing materials, advertising campaigns, and promotional claims for alignment with consumer‑protection regulations and platform policies.
• Advise cross‑functional teams on regional compliance requirements and communicate legal updates.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting digital products, AI governance, consumer protection, advertising, and sanctions.
• Develop compliance awareness initiatives, including training materials, onboarding resources, playbooks, and documentation.
• Review AI‑powered products, features, and third‑party AI integrations to ensure responsible AI governance.

Required profile

• Legally trained professional with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of consumer‑protection laws in the EU and the US.
• Experience with marketing and advertising compliance across EU and US markets.
• Understanding of digital legislation, technology regulations, and AI governance frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑moving technology environment.
