Production Trainee – Drive Factory (Paid Internship)

About the role

ABB is looking for a production trainee (tootmispraktikant) for its frequency converter factory in Jüri, Tallinn. This is a paid internship lasting 3 to 6 months, working on site, reporting to the foreman. It is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while learning the tasks and improving your own skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble cabinet frames, structures and roofs according to drawings
• Install sealing materials and silicone joints
• Install electrical connections, cooling system pipes and cable channels
• Prepare and assemble smaller parts and sub-assemblies
• Carry out metal work such as drilling, cutting and other manufacturing operations
• Keep track of materials in SAP
• Follow safety rules every day

Required profile

• Studying production or a similar field, or interested in learning it
• Experience with details and precision
• Good analytical and planning skills
• Independent and team player
• Good English and Estonian; Russian is an advantage

• SAP (for material tracking)
