Toolmaker / Mold Maintenance Technician

About the role

A manufacturer in Estonia is looking for a Toolmaker / Mold Maintenance Technician to repair, service and maintain injection molds. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, on a 12-month fixed-term contract with a 4-month probation period.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, service and maintain injection molds
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep molds in optimal working condition
• Diagnose mold and tooling issues and carry out repairs
• Disassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble injection molds and their components
• Manufacture and repair tooling, mold components and production fixtures
• Support mold trials and troubleshoot mold-related issues during production

Required profile

• Technical or vocational education in toolmaking, machining, mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance or a related field
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in toolmaking, mold assembly, maintenance or repair of injection molds
• Experience repairing and maintaining injection molds of varying complexity, including cold runner and hot runner systems
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for molds and tooling
• Good working knowledge of technical English; knowledge of Russian is an advantage
