About the role
Adacel Technologies Estonia is developing AI‑powered remote tower solutions that transform airport control systems. As a Quality & Safety Specialist you will lead and continuously improve quality and safety management processes, ensuring compliance with global standards, ISO requirements, and EU regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and enhance Quality and Safety Management processes in Estonia, aligning with Adacel’s global standards and ISO 9001.
- Act as the independent Quality representative and System Safety Specialist for REVAL Digital Tower projects.
- Define and maintain technical and functional safety requirements; conduct safety analyses such as FHA, FMEA, PSSA, SSA, and hazard assessments.
- Identify, assess, and monitor safety risks throughout project lifecycles, providing guidance and mitigation strategies.
- Lead certification, compliance, and audit activities, including internal QMS audits and preparation for external ISO, regulatory, and customer audits.
- Support EASA approval, customer safety assessments, operational approvals, and safety case development.
- Monitor quality performance, drive corrective and preventive actions, and ensure documentation is audit‑ready.
- Promote process harmonisation and continuous improvement across Estonia and Montreal teams.
Required profile
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Aviation Safety or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, Safety Engineering or Systems Engineering, preferably in a regulated technology or aviation environment.
- Strong analytical, communication and technical documentation skills with a proactive, structured mindset.
- Proficiency in Estonian and English.
