Regional Senior Manager, Groceries & Retail

About the role

Bolt is looking for a Regional Senior Manager to lead and scale its Groceries & Retail vertical across seven countries. This is a high-impact commercial leadership role with full ownership of sales growth, partner acquisition and merchant success. The candidate will oversee a regional team of 7-10 people and work across multiple markets to close deals, expand partnerships and turn the vertical into a growth engine.

Key responsibilities

• Set and own the strategy for Groceries & Retail across the seven markets (e.g. Baltics, CEE).
• Define and deliver commercial, growth and operational targets such as order volume, retention, basket size and delivery time.
• Build and expand the partner network, from major grocery chains (Schwarz Group, Carrefour, Auchan, Jerónimo Martins, Continente) to beauty and personal care chains (DM, Rossmann, Sephora, Wells) and pharma retailers, ensuring selection, pricing and operational excellence.
• Own the regional P&L, with accountability for ROI, margins and partner unit economics.
• Drive cross-functional execution with ops, marketing, finance and product to optimise the full customer journey.
• Represent the region in global strategic planning sessions and personally lead strategic negotiations with key regional accounts.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in fast-paced environments, having scaled teams across countries or regions.
• Experience owning and driving regional or multi-market P&Ls.
• Strong B2B or merchant-facing background, building long-term commercial partnerships at senior level.
• Hands-on, execution-driven leader who negotiates and closes deals.
