Senior KYC Operations Analyst – Deactivations

About the role

Wise is looking for a Senior KYC Operations Analyst to join its newly created Deactivations team. You will become the authority on Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), investigating complex customer cases and ensuring every decision complies with regulatory standards and Wise’s risk appetite.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence reviews based on each customer’s risk profile.
• Analyse transaction histories and identify behavioural patterns that may indicate risk.
• Perform periodic reviews and assess changes in account usage.
• Evaluate high‑risk customer reports and approve actions according to policy.
• Prioritise records requiring further investigation and obtain necessary documentation.
• Use internet sources and third‑party vendors to gather information on prospects and existing customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams on escalated or complex cases.
• Provide guidance and respond to daily inquiries from peers, front‑line staff, and management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Enhanced Due Diligence or similar KYC functions.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to make risk‑based decisions and work independently.
• Interest in deepening knowledge of financial‑crime compliance.
