Senior OCS Design Engineer – Baltics

About the role

SYSTRA Ardanuy is seeking a Senior OCS Design Engineer to join its team on a full‑time, permanent basis in Estonia. Reporting to the OCS Design Manager, you will support the development of overhead contact line (OCS) designs and lead a team of designers responsible for local application design.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of generic and detailed OCS designs.
• Lead and supervise a team of OCS Designers developing the application design for the local country.
• Coordinate design activities with other project disciplines and stakeholders.
• Ensure OCS designs comply with local legislation, standards and technical specifications.
• Review and coordinate technical documentation and design deliverables.
• Assist in resolving technical and interface issues related to railway electrification.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of proven professional experience in OCS/Overhead Contact Line design.
• English level B2 or above and B2 level in the local language.
• Valid local professional certificate for OCS Design (or commitment to obtain within 6 months).
• Strong leadership and coordination skills, with experience on major railway infrastructure projects valued.
