Team Lead – Grading & Outbound

About the role

Swappie is looking for a Team Lead to head the Grading & Outbound team in Tallinn. You will guide a group of Operations Associates, ensuring devices are assessed, packed and shipped with high quality and efficiency, while fostering a collaborative culture.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for team members, collaborating with Department Leads, HR and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and implement company OKRs, set and track individual and team targets such as quality and accuracy.
• Oversee inbound deliveries, registration, and ensure outbound orders are packed and dispatched on schedule.
• Lead root‑cause analysis, random sampling and rework reviews to maintain quality standards.
• Drive lean process improvements and innovate operational workflows.
• Manage time‑tracking, break times, leave applications and ensure schedules are ready for payroll.
• Conduct monthly 1‑on‑1s, lead performance reviews and support professional development.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding and integration of new team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading operations‑focused teams and coaching people.
• Experience working in multicultural environments with strong cross‑cultural awareness.
• Fluent verbal and written English.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data‑driven decisions quickly.
• Strong problem‑solving, time‑management and organisational abilities.
