Technical SEO & GEO Specialist (Remote EMEA)

About the role

A fast-growing AI consumer technology company is looking for a Technical SEO & GEO Specialist to strengthen its organic acquisition strategy across search engines, app stores and AI-powered discovery platforms. The role covers technical SEO, App Store Optimization (ASO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), working closely with content, product and marketing teams. It is a full-time, fully remote position (CET) advertised by Pragmatike, starting ASAP, initially as a 3-month contract with the option to extend or convert to permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimize the technical SEO strategy, including crawling, indexing, site performance, structured data and internal linking, and fix technical issues affecting organic visibility.
• Develop and run ASO strategies across Apple App Store and Google Play, optimizing metadata, keywords, descriptions and localized listings, and run listing experiments such as screenshots, preview videos and custom product pages.
• Monitor app store performance, keyword rankings, organic installs and conversion rates.
• Own GEO initiatives, analyzing how AI assistants reference and recommend products to improve brand visibility.
• Collaborate with content teams on SEO-driven feature pages and comparison pages, and define and optimize the organic growth roadmap.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SEO for consumer-facing digital products with measurable results in organic traffic and acquisition.
• Demonstrated experience with ASO on both Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Practical experience with GEO and improving brand visibility in AI-generated answers and recommendations.
• Excellent written English; fluent English required.
• Nice to have: experience growing organic acquisition for subscription mobile apps, web-to-app funnels, content strategy management, knowledge of app store policies and reviews, and experience across multiple international markets.

Required skills

• Strong technical SEO knowledge: crawling, indexing, structured data and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience implementing technical SEO via CMS platforms or directly in code.
• App store keyword research, metadata optimization, localization and CRO.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console, analytics platforms, App Store Connect, Google Play Console and ASO tools.
