Technical Support Engineer - Solar & Renewables

About the role

A Technical Support Engineer is needed to provide pre-sales and after-sales technical support for solar and renewable energy products in the Baltics. The role covers product selection, system configuration, troubleshooting and building technical relationships with customers, and works closely with Sales, Product, Service and R&D teams.

Key responsibilities

• Pre-sales support for Sales Managers, distributors, installers, EPCs and key customers, including product selection, system configuration and technical solutions.
• After-sales support: troubleshooting installation, commissioning, communication, software and product issues.
• Support new product launches, technical training, webinars, workshops and customer events in the Baltics market.
• Collect and communicate customer requirements, market feedback and recurring technical issues to Product and R&D teams.
• Support local product testing and validation, including firmware, software, compatibility and system integration testing.
• Maintain and localise technical documentation such as manuals, FAQs, troubleshooting guides and training materials.
• Work with Sales, Product, Service and R&D teams to resolve customer and product issues on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, Automation or a related technical field.
• Relevant experience in solar PV, inverters, battery energy storage or renewable energy systems is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in technical support, field service, application engineering or pre-sales engineering is preferred.
• Fluent local language and good English skills; willingness to travel within the Baltics and occasionally within Europe.

Required skills

• Good understanding of PV systems, inverters, batteries, electrical systems and system commissioning.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable communicating with installers, distributors, EPCs and professional customers.
• Ability to manage technical issues independently and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
