About the role

Threod Systems, a leading Estonian defence‑technology company, is looking for a Production Engineer to join its camera‑systems team. You will help bring new UAV camera products from prototype to series production while ensuring high‑quality manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development and implementation of new products and manufacturing processes.
• Support the transition of new products from prototype to series production.
• Resolve daily technical issues that arise on the shop floor.
• Design auxiliary fixtures and create technical drawings.
• Develop work instructions and produce new process documentation.
• Analyse and solve product‑related problems.
• Coordinate production changes and manage information in the ERP system.
• Support measurement and analysis of production processes.
• Propose improvements and take part in their implementation.

Required profile

• Technical higher education (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing engineering role.
• Knowledge of manufacturing technology.
• Experience with 3D CAD tools such as Solid Edge, SolidWorks or CATIA.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Planning ability, proactivity and initiative.
• Capability to work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent Estonian and English communication skills, spoken and written.
