Video Editor - Social, Paid Ads & YouTube

About the role

A mid-level video editor is sought to edit and repurpose existing footage into social content and paid ads, producing 15-20 ad creatives and variations plus 30 organic short-form videos per month. By month 3, the editor takes ownership of the YouTube channel. The role is full-time, 100% remote, for candidates based in Europe or Asia with working hours overlapping the Asia/Europe social media team; U.S. candidates are outside the time zone range.

Key responsibilities

• Edit Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts and paid video ads with strong hooks, pacing, captions and storytelling.
• Adapt edits for organic social content and for paid advertising across Meta, TikTok and YouTube.
• Create video ads from specs using AI tools such as Claude, Fal.ai or Higgsfield, working from a brief or helping develop one with the media buyer.
• Turn existing footage into cutdowns and ad variations for testing.
• Manage editing deadlines and complete urgent edits within 1-2 hours when needed.
• By month 3, run the YouTube channel from ideas and shoot planning through recording, editing, thumbnails, titles and publishing, and review performance to improve hooks, pacing and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with the social media team and media buyer on briefs, drafts and revisions during shared working hours.

Required profile

• Mid-level brand video editing experience with a strong portfolio of social content and, ideally, paid ads.
• Strong creative judgment and the ability to explain creative choices for organic versus paid content.
• Ability to clarify a rough brief, manage production volume, learn new tools and deliver without constant direction.
• Experience managing YouTube content from planning to publishing.
• Exceptional English (C1/C2).
• Reliable remote setup: fast computer, noise-canceling headset and stable internet.

Required skills

• CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or comparable tools.
• Confidence using AI video tools; using Claude, Fal.ai or Higgsfield is a plus.
